We're learning about Ecology and in this experiment, we had to see what would happen when we filled two tanks with organic materials and then put worms in one of them. These instructions tell u how to do this;
- Take two glass tanks.
- Place a strip of masking tape on one side.
- Mark, on the tape, these three words; SOIL, COMPOST, LEAVES.
- Fill the tank with soil at the bottom.
- Before adding anything else, add about fifteen worms to the soil in the worm tank ONLY. Make sure to add a bit of water to the soil, or else the worms will dry up and the experiment won't work.
- Add the compost. There must be more compost than anything else.
- Add some leaves over the compost.
